Locality was a one day pop up exhibition and performance night organised and curated by Nicoleta Papaxenophontos and Annie Watkins. The work presented centred around themes of this nature.

Locality is being situated in a specific time or space. In this group exhibition we explored what it means to be rooted in a place, what it means to be connected to the land we reside in or are in some way connected to, what it means to exist in community, to have a shared experience - commonality.

For the purpose of this event, a warehouse in Hackney Wick was converted into a gallery and event space for one night only.
